Her diamonds falling down

What do you do when you let go of someone that means so much to you without telling them why? In a harsh way I did... and I feel horrible for it, but for some reasons I feel it was best. I recently was put back on depression medication and my life has been so hectic and awful that I just didnt know what to do.
I really wish he could understand that I thought it was best... so I couldnt put the pressures of my life onto him... I hope he reads this and knows that I still care, but am confused
